FILMLEADER TALKS & SEMINARS
What is the difference between a talk and a seminar?
A talk will generally be a presentation to a larger group of people with very little interaction from the audience and a locked-in delivery.
A seminar will be a interactive teaching session with a ten or more people in a more relaxed back and forth discussion with the audience.
Who is this for?
Primarily, these are intended for Communications Leaders tasked with making films or leading filmmaking teams for an organization. Communications Directors, Creative Directors, Agency owners, Film & Video Team Leaders, Social Media Directors, Professors, Teachers, Ministry Leaders, and Small business owners will all benefit.
Professional filmmakers or video specialists need not be left out though! I have separate topic for them aimed serving and building relationships with Communications Leaders.
What talks & seminars do you offer?
“Filmschool for Communication Leaders” is a great overview that doesn’t require filmmaking experience and covers all the steps and processes to oversee videos or the filmmakers making them. Attendees will even get “homework” they can take with them to immediately apply what they learn.
If you are looking for more specific filmmaking topics which can be tailored to your audience – I also offer; video screenwriting, script break-down for budgeting & shot lists, pre-production, producing/directing on set, post-production, and one of the most helpful …giving feedback! Interested in an on-line talk or workshop?
Give me a call and we can discuss how to get you set up!
How do I schedule a talk or seminar?
Just click on the red “Start Today” button below to send me an email about your event and what you are looking for. I will give you a call back to discuss your your event and we can decide which talk or seminar would serve your best.
Are there any limits to the audience size?
As a general rule, seminars are best for audiences of 50 or less but can go up to 100. There is not a limit for Talk audiences.
How come you don’t have pricing listed?
Great question! There are several factors that go into pricing a talk or putting on a seminar depending on your needs, industry, or location. Since I want to be helpful and provide the most value to you and your group – it is best that we talk directly and determine exactly what you want so I can give you a clear and accurate price.
What happens if I need to cancel your talk or seminar?
Bummer! Hey, I get it, things happen.
We will have already clarified this in our arrangement but, If you cancel up to a month before the event, I can usually give you a full refund or a credit (good for one year) towards a future talk or seminar.
If you need to cancel less than a month before the engagement then I would retain your deposit or offer you a credit (good for one year) towards a future talk or seminar.
